What We Do

From the Humble beginning in 1992 till date, around 503 senior citizens have been served at this Ashrama and today it has grown to 20 room facility with the help and co-operation of philanthropically minded people.

At present Ashrama consists of 60 senior citizens out of which 5 residents are Physically challenged. All of them are properly being taken care with the essential requirements such as boarding, clothing, food and most importantly medical needs.

Facilities & Activities:

Housed in a calm and serene environment.
In-house Sri Shirdi Sai Baba temple place to perform homas.
Daily activities – Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Aarti for four times followed by Spiritual chanting.
Weekly basic medical check-up and health camps. Every Thursday Prasada Vitarana to everyone who visits or passes by the Ashram and kids in Govt. School near Sulthanpet.
Monthly activities like Cultural activities, Sathya Narayana Pooja performed every Pournami, Ganapathi Homam on Sankashti Chathurthi.
Yearly celebration of all the festivals, grand celebration of Guru Pournami.
Social Activities, celebrating birthdays, special days, national and religious festivals.
Talks and interactive sessions on topics of interest from interested speakers/supporters.
A hygienically run Kitchen with modern equipment which can cater food for 300 people.
Spacious dining hall with a sitting capacity of 150 people.
Video telecast system for the entertainment. Also we take the interested residents to new movies.
Cable Television connection, Generator, UPS, Solar System, Water Purifier.

Contribute for a Good Cause

Donate a Meal / Food offering

Food plays a major role in everyone’s life; we provide well prepared, clean and hygenic food to all our residents daily for 3 times and also provide snacks with beverages. To cater these residents we spend more than 125,000 INR (Lakh) per month. You can also be part of this service by contributing per-day Meal for all the residents.

Of all the Charities, the charity of food is considered to be supreme.

We have different options for you to serve this charity: If you wish to sponsor:

Full Day Meal (Break Fast, Lunch, Dinner) - 5000/- INR
One Meal per-day Lunch / Dinner - 2,000 /- INR

Donate Medicines

Most of the residents of our home are old aged. Old people often have limited regenerative abilities and are more susceptible to disease, syndromes, and sickness than younger adults. As a part of our work we conduct regular health checkup for all our residents and give them right medication to keep them fit and fine.

We spend more than 25,000 INR on common medicines for our residents per month. You can also be part of this service by contributing in-kind to all the residents. No Fixed donation amount is defined for this service. Please contact us in-person before donating them, as medicines change based on the season and requirement.

Donate Basic Needs

As any other organization we also face severe challenges from time to time. As a part of daily life we need many basic things like tooth paste, brush, soaps, room cleaner, toilet cleaners, Cold creams, moisturizers etc.. We keep our resident engage entire day with some activities or encourage their interest in reading books/novels, playing in-door games, reading spiritual books, knitting etc.

You can be part of this service by contributing in-kind and help us to support Small-Can-be-BIG expenses on these basic needs. For this we invite the philanthropically minded people to contribute to this noble cause in any way the can.

In-Kind donations:

Another way you can contribute to us is through in-kind, non-cash donations. Some examples of in-kind donations are: Cereals, spices, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits and preserved food items etc. Please note we required advance notice for receiving perishable items such as fresh vegetables & fruits.

You can donate your time by celebrating some special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries etc and share the joy with us. Volunteering to help in the organization is both socially responsible and personally satisfying.
